About the Author

Joyce Cordell, author of Ears to Hear, is a graduate of Georgetown College, in Georgetown, Kentucky.  She lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, Jim.  They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2007 with a trip to Hawaii.      In 2006, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of touring the Holy Land.  Joyce visited the site of the palace of Caiaphas.  What a thrill to stand on the original steps where Malchus stood and survey the old city from that lofty view.      Joyce is currently working on her second book in a trilogy of "unlikely believers".  Nicodemus will play the prominent role along with his contemporaries, Joseph of Arimathea and Gamaliel, Paul's teacher.      Joyce wrote a story about her parents which was published in the collection, A Cup of Comfort for Weddings.  She is active in the Louisville Christian Writers group.
